Health and Safety Certificate (FETAC Level 5)

Course Objectives

To provide the leaner with the skills and knowledge to promote and maintain Safety and Health in the working environment.

Target Audience
This course is aimed at all employees.

  • Identify the elements and functions of the Safety Statement
  • Identify the hazard within the workplace, evaluate risks and put control measures in place to eliminate/ reduce the risks 
  • Risk Assessment
  • Manual Handling/Ergonomics
  • Good Housekeeping
  • Fire Safety
  • Work Equipment/Machinery
  • Environmental Factors
  • Safety Signage
  • Accident Investigation & Reporting

Up to 15 Participants

Duration
Five Days

Assessment
Participants will be required to complete two short written assignments and a short written examination.

This Course is a Further Education & Training Awards Council (FETAC) approved course- Module D20165 Level 5- Safety Certificate
